Overview
Aspire People are working in partnership with a mainstream primary school in Salford, M38 who are looking to recruit a dedicated, motivated behaviour support Assistant to support within their KS2 department.
The role is a SEN Teaching Assistant position in a Primary School that caters to young people with Social Emotional Mental Health needs. The school aims to improve confidence and self-esteem and enable pupils to become successful learners who are prepared for their future working lives. Pupils study the core curriculum in small groups with tailored support to meet individual needs.
September 2025 start. Long-term and casual positions available. Pay: 14.00 p/h - 17.00 p/h.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with pupils.
* Support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and enable access to the curriculum.
* Support pupils displaying challenging behaviours with a calm and resilient approach.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience supporting pupils displaying challenging behaviours is preferred.
* Resilient, calm, and professional approach to practice.
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant is beneficial.
