About your new HGV Technician role
A family run business that has been established for over 30 years, won multiple awards for their service and have numerous depots located across the U.K. Due to their ever-expanding/growing team they are currently looking for an additional skilled HGV Technician to join their depot in Coventry. You will be working a M-F night shift 9pm-6am (42.5hrs)
About your new HGV Technician role
* Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trailers
* Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
* Overhaul electrical equipment and components
* Welding and metal working
* MOT preparation
* Parts ordering and stores management
* Opportunities to gain training in IRTEC, LOLER/Weight Test, BPW,Operator Licence Awareness, Deck Trianing and FLT (new / refresher)
Key skills / experience required for the HGV Technician role
* An in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.
* Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or have proven time served experience in the role
* Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
* HGV Licence would be beneficial but not essential
