Based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites is a fast-growing manufacturer, supplying carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies to some of the world’s leading aircraft and aero engine producers. Operating across three distinct product groups namely commercial, defence and business jet products, this role is an opportunity to join a team putting the finishing touches to our highly technical products.
The manufacturing facility houses some of the most advanced machining technology in Europe such as a multi axis NDT robotic machine, automated material cutting machine and multi axis CNC machining centres. Role Overview
The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of the business, its operational landscape, and key delivery programmes. This is a varied and challenging role with potential for international travel. There are clear opportunities for career development for individuals who demonstrate drive, capability, and a proactive approach to delivery and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the successful delivery of key programmes by coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring alignment with contractual and business requirements.
2. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to support programme execution and long-term business objectives.
3. Manage post-contract activities, ensuring appropriate internal resources are engaged and balanced effectively against customer and business needs.
4. Lead or contribute to cross-functional problem-solving activities to address commercial, technical, or manufacturing challenges impacting programme delivery.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date programme data within company systems, tracking progress, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and implementing recovery plans where required.
6. Monitor and manage the key account orderbook to ensure alignment with contractual commitments and delivery expectations.
7. Support the continuous improvement of processes and provide input into product strategy and broader business planning based on programme insight and market awareness.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant export, import, and ITAR regulations, as well as company operating procedures.
9. Represent programme status and risks internally, ensuring visibility and alignment across stakeholders at all levels.
Personal Specification
Essential:
10. Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of delivering results within a project, programme, or operational environment.
11. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
12. Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on programme delivery and meeting commitments.
13. Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.
14. Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally as required (full driving licence and valid passport).
15. Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
16. Degree-level education, ideally in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
17. Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
18. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and programme management tools.
19. Experience in bid, project, or programme management.
20. Understanding of Teledyne CML products, processes, and capabilities.
21. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver quality and timely outcomes.
