The post holder will work at Band 4 under the supervision of a registered Physiotherapist within the North Bristol Trust Physiotherapy Musculoskeletal Outpatient team, providing a range of interventions to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
Responsibilities include organising and implementing physical treatment sessions from treatment protocols and monitoring patient progress, adapting and progressing treatment plans with advice from qualified physiotherapy staff, leading or assisting group rehabilitation sessions promoting exercise and self‑management skills, as well as undertaking administration and departmental duties such as booking patient appointments, coordinating patient groups and liaising with the multidisciplinary team.
The role involves both direct patient contact and indirect patient‑related duties. The post holder is expected to be proactive, versatile, adaptable, with good organisational skills and competence using multiple computer systems; strong IT knowledge is essential.
Training will be provided as required by the trust. The post holder will assist with rehabilitation groups in both an administrative and clinical role, supporting patients following orthopaedic surgery and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions/injuries.
