EVENT COORDINATOR / SIGN INSTALLER - EVENTS AND SIGNS
LOCATION: MERSEYSIDE - OFFICE-BASED (SEPTEMBER-MARCH) / ON-SITE (APRIL-AUGUST)
£Competitive, based on experience, Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays
Our client is a leading events and branding company specialising in delivering high-impact branding for premier golf tournaments across the UK. Their team partners with top-tier clients to transform golf courses into fully branded, professional event environments using high-quality signage, furniture, digital displays, and more.
They are looking for an experienced and driven Event Coordinator / Sign Installer to take a lead role in planning and delivering event branding projects across the season. This role involves end-to-end coordination of event logistics, close client communication, and hands-on support with on-site installations.
From September to March, you will be primarily office-based, managing project timelines, supplier coordination and site plans. From April to August, you'll be on the road and on-site, overseeing branding installations at golf tournaments across the UK. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth delivery, team supervision, and client satisfaction.
Estimated days away from home (travel required): April: approx. 10 days / May: approx. 12 days / June: approx. 24 days / July: approx. 7 days / August: approx. 15 days
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead event planning and branding logistics from initial brief to execution
2. Liaise directly with clients and suppliers to ensure branding requirements are met
3. Manage delivery schedules and coordinate installation teams on-site
4. Oversee the setup of branded course elements, including: Tee furniture, Flag poles, LED screens, Archways, Banner masts, Signage and wayfinding elements
5. Operate and supervise use of power tools and installation equipment
6. Ensure all health & safety protocols are followed on-site
7. Maintain accurate documentation and event records using Microsoft Word and Excel
8. Support and mentor junior staff during event delivery
Skills & Experience
Essential:
9. Proven experience in event coordination or branding delivery
10. Strong project management and problem-solving skills
11. Able to lead teams and work independently under pressure
12. Excellent communication and client-facing skills
13. Confident in hands-on setup tasks
14. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
15. Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
16. Background in sports events or golf industry
17. Skilled in the use of power tools
18. Familiarity with event build processes or signage installation
19. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign
