Role Overview
Working as part of a team, responsible for the safe, correct loading/offloading of finished goods and carrying out housekeeping duties. Working to a high standard. Filling out loading/picking lists daily.
This role would involve working Monday to Friday on Rotational shift (Morning & Afters) 06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00. It may be required to introduce a future night shift (22:00-06:00) due to business demand
Key Responsibilities
* Complete all mandatory training.
* Liaise with Shift Supervisor/Lead Loader on all loading requirements.
* Ensure all loads are loaded correctly and double-checked.
* Maintain housekeeping in the area to a high standard.
* Clock in and out according to company policy.
* Work to Safe Systems of Work (SSoW).
* Ensure safety of self and others (including HGV drivers) in the work area.
* FLT drivers complete their FLT checks.
* Wear company-issued PPE, including all workwear.
* Develop a culture of Continuous Improvement through suggestions and collaboration.
Skills and Experience
* FLT Certificate (Essential).
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Able to manage own schedule effectively.
* Good IT skills, proficient in MS packages including Excel.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to obtain, analyse, and present information.
