We are currently looking for an individual to join our family team at our Knowsley service. You will ensure a high quality and consistent service to families with either drug and/or alcohol related issues working closely with parents and children's social care. Where: Knowsley Full Time Ho urs: 37.5 per week Contract Type: Permanent Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. About the role: To deliver support to families promoting access for service users Providing advocacy for access to partnership services Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination To adhere to CGL policies and processes in delivery of services – particularly lone working and health and safety related to working with complex service users. To undertake focused work with families of interest. To provide rapid and flexible interventions where required to meet the needs of the service users. Working closely with partners including Knowsley Social Care. As part of this role, you will be required to attend multi agency meetings and provide reports as required. About you: A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group, e.g. mental health services, criminal justice agencies, community groups, etc. Have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field Experience of safeguarding and working in the substance misuse field. Knowledge of the issue facing families where substance misuse is present. Good knowledge of local community-based support practices. Good literacy and communication skills.
