We’re looking for a proactive Building Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of Buile Hill Mansion a Grade II listed building offering a café, function rooms, and housing Salford’s Registrars.
You’ll be the main point of contact for building users, responsible for safety, security, and maintenance, as well as liaising with contractors and supporting events. The role includes basic repairs, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
What we need from you:
* Experience in a customer-facing role within a multi-use building
* Ability to carry out basic repairs (joinery, plumbing, decoration)
* Strong organisational skills and flexibility to work outside normal hours including weekends
* Willingness to train as a First Aider and Fire Marshal

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £21.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £5.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £21.50.
