Job Description:
Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional and specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D takes place at our Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We are passionate about delivering superior technical advice on-farm. We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region.
The successful candidate will develop long-term relationships with customers, connect with industry stakeholders, and report to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic and operational sales plans.
2. Matching product presentations to regional needs and opportunities.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships with trade customers, including product support, customer service, credit control, and debtor management.
5. Enforcing sales policies and procedures.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to maximize sales and service quality.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Participating actively in company development and operational teams.
Qualifications and skills required include a third-level qualification in Agriculture or Business, proven sales management experience, technical knowledge of the agri-sector, strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, excellent communication, problem-solving, organization, and a full clean driver's license.
