Overview
LINET UK – Warehouse Logistics Assistant
Location: Ilford, United Kingdom. Department: Warehouse/Logistics/Admin. Overall purpose: To pro-actively undertake customer support activities within the warehouse area and any associated operations, providing optimum support to both the Company and the customer, with the aim of meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction expectations.
Responsibilities
* Undertake all day to day duties within the General warehouse and logistics movements.
* Undertake relevant administrative duties as required.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the Finished Goods / Spares Warehouse and surrounding areas, including acting as Banksman for large deliveries.
* Efficiently manage product storage, aiming to minimise 3rd party storage.
* Check and maintain any off-site storage facility, and collect when ad-hoc requirements are identified.
* Publish weekly stock lists of Finished Goods / Demo Stock / Available Rental Assets to the sales force and senior management.
* Carry out stock count checks with the Stores and Warehouse Supervisor.
* Maintain paperwork and an audit trail for all products moving in and out of the Warehouse Stores, Goods stock, and Rental Assets.
* Pick, pack and despatch Spare Stock to customers and Service Engineers, coordinating collections with couriers.
* Despatch Finished Goods to customers, including visual checks and testing of hospital bed frames where applicable, ensuring correct serialised products are delivered.
* Assist with loading/unloading of lorries and liaise with drivers to ensure correct products are taken.
* Assist other departments with customer/client information and records as needed.
* During busy periods, be flexible to support colleagues to deliver a full professional service.
* Interact with the internal SAP B1 system to check stock against delivery notes, book in against purchase orders, and store in assigned racks.
General Responsibilities
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Linet and related products, third-party equipment, service methodologies, and Health & Safety standards to provide effective Service Management to the region.
* Perform responsibilities in accordance with company policies, quality manual and objectives, departmental procedures, and other relevant policy documents as required by Linet UK senior management.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
* 3 GCSEs or equivalent (Grade C or above)
* Health & Safety knowledge
* PAT Tester competence
* Manual Handling knowledge
* LOLER trained
* Experience operating cleaning equipment
* Experience of accurate record keeping and data input
* Intermediate MS Office / IT equipment proficiency
