The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the delivery of timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records through timely and accurate data entry across all financial systems. Payroll Administration: Assist in preparing and processing payroll, ensuring all statutory requirements are met. Supplier Payments: Manage supplier payment runs, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on schedule. Management Accounts: Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders. Statutory Accounts: Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards. VAT Submissions: Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements and deadlines. Xero Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations in Xero, including bank accounts, supplier statements, and other control accounts. Tax Compliance: Support general tax compliance including preparation of P11Ds and other statutory filings. About You Detail-oriented and eager to learn within a finance environment. Organised and able to manage tasks accurately and on time. Strong team player with good communication skills. Interested in developing a long-term career in finance and accounting. Proactive, reliable, and willing to take initiative when supporting the finance team.
