Job Description Conveyancing Assistant - Manchester & Cheshire Job Summary My Clients is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support conveyancers in managing property transactions, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and processed efficiently. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in facilitating smooth transactions for clients. Responsibilities Assist conveyancers with the preparation and submission of legal documents related to property transactions. Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and documentation. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary information. Conduct property searches and obtain relevant information from local authorities. Prepare reports and summaries for conveyancers to review. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies throughout the conveyancing process. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and filing documents. Skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation. Proficient in using office software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a legal or conveyancing environment is advantageous but not essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new processes.
