About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity as part of the Best Start in Life Family Hubs development, for the role of an additional Early Years Foundation Stage Consultant. The role will be focused on improving outcomes for all children across the early years through partnership working. You will use data to identify priorities and develop projects to improve outcomes for babies and children. You will be responsible for leading and delivering high‑quality evidence‑based home learning environment programmes and other initiatives across two neighbours in Trafford to improve educational outcomes and reduce inequalities. A key aspect of the role will be delivering workforce development and training opportunities to schools, early education settings and practitioners across the Best Start in Life partnership.
About You
Your approach will reflect our values and behaviours. You will be committed to learning and continuous improvement, working collaboratively with others to deliver high quality services. You will lead strategically using data and professional knowledge to make a positive difference to the outcomes for children at the end of the early years foundation stage, planning and working on projects to effect change.
You will also have proven experience of leading, managing and developing multi‑agency practitioners, supported by strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. You will have proven professional experience working across the early years age range as part of a multi‑agency team.
Additional Information
* An enhanced DBS Check with children/adults barred list will be required.
* Any appointment made to this role will be subject to the appointable candidate being vetted under Greater Manchester Police clearance processes. A requirement of the vetting process is a minimum of 3 years residency in the UK.
* You will be required to drive in this role. You will be asked for a copy of your driving licence as part of the recruitment process.
* Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for training delivery.
