Job Summary
Behavioural Pastoral Manager (Scale 6) – responsible for leading the daily operation of whole‑school behaviour systems and shaping the consistency, clarity and impact of sanctions across the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, implementation and review of school‑wide behaviour policies and sanctions.
* Support staff to deliver consistent and fair behaviour management following national expectations.
* Collaborate with senior leaders and pastoral team to embed a clear culture of support and progress.
* Act as point of contact for external agencies and the safeguarding team regarding behaviour matters.
Qualifications & Experience
* Evidence of CPD relevant to behaviour management.
* Significant experience in a pastoral, behaviour or youth role.
* Experience of working with external agencies.
* Understanding of safeguarding indicators.
