High Down School have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed 1:1 Learning Support Assistant.

Work within a learning framework set by the classroom teacher(s) and /or the SENCO, provide support for the individual needs of a named child, which ensures that they have equality of access to opportunities, in a safe and healthy environment to learn and develop both academically and emotionally.

Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 (Full Time), Actual Salary: £9,613.91 - £9,766.48

Contractual hours: 15.83, Basis: Part Time, Job type: Support Staff - Educational, Job category: Support Role - Education/Behavioural Support

Hours: 15 hours 50 mins per week, Term Time Only & 5 Inset Days, Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2026, Start Date: ASAP


The Role

Post-holders Will Be Required To Work

15 hours 50 mins per week, term time only to include 5 INSET days.

The hours of work are 09.00-12.10 Monday to Friday.


Our School

* Be able to build strong and positive relationships with colleagues, children and parents

* Have some experience in working with children in a classroom setting and ideally have experience of working with children who have SEND
* Be flexible and able to work collaboratively and proactively within a busy team
* Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and improve
* Be keen to undertake training relevant to the role
* Be resilient, positive, patient and compassionate.

The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 30 schools in the Trust.
