The Opportunity Our client, a well-established, owner-managed SME, is looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent basis. Youll report directly to the Managing Director and work alongside a fellow accounts professional, playing a key role in the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business. Due to the companies location, this role is commutable from Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping, accounts and basic reporting Payroll, PAYE and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) Purchase and sales ledger Invoice checking and posting Subcontractor payments via CIS General office administration Office-based role Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience in a hands-on accounting role Knowledge of payroll and CIS is highly desirable Strong communication and admin skills Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail Organised, deadline-driven and proactive Comfortable working independently Confident using accounting systems and general IT The Package Permanent appointment Salary: £30,000 £32,000 (depending on experience, Pro Rata) Hours:25-30 hours per week On Site working INDSH
