Brothers of Charity Services (England) is dedicated to providing innovative and quality support to over 500 individuals with learning disabilities across the North West of England. The Brothers of Charity Services is looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Business Support (Recruitment) team as a Volunteer Recruiter.
This is a key role focused on recruiting and supporting volunteers across our services, while also assisting with wider recruitment and administrative duties.
In this role you will:
1. Lead ongoing recruitment for positions across all service areas
2. Support general recruitment administration and advert management
3. Coordinate interviews and assist with candidate screening
4. Maintain positive relationships with managers, volunteers, and stakeholders
5. Conduct regular welfare check-ins with volunteers and provide support as needed
6. Recognise and reward volunteer contributions
7. Help maintain recruitment records, databases, and personnel systems
What We’re Looking For:
8. Good level of English and Maths
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Organisational ability and attention to detail
11. Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
12. Previous experience working with or as a volunteer
13. Previous administration or office experience
14. Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and work independently or in a team
Recruitment-related qualifications and knowledge of recruitment legislation are desirable but not essential.
