The company is recognised for its high standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence, providing a secure and efficient working environment for all personnel.The RoleThe Facilities/Estates Manager will take full responsibility for the management and performance of soft services contracts, typically valued between £2 million - £2.5 million, ensuring high standards of delivery, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.This is a leadership role, with a Facilities Engineer reporting in, who will support the coordination and execution of works across the site.Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the delivery of soft facilities services across site, ensuring performance against KPIs and SLAs
2. Manage large-scale service contracts in the region of £2M - £2.5M
3. Lead and coordinate service providers across multiple disciplines
4. Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards
5. Manage stakeholder relationships, acting as the key point of contact for service delivery
6. Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive operational efficiencies
7. Oversee planned and reactive works carried out by the Facilities Engineer and service partners
8. Ensure services are delivered with minimal disruption to core operations
9. Drive continuous improvement across all service lines
Scope of ServicesThe role will oversee a broad range of soft services, including:
10. Waste management and disposal
11. Asbestos management and compliance
12. Building services support
13. Grounds maintenance
14. Pest control
15. Cleaning services across buildings and facilities
About You
16. Proven experience managing large-scale soft FM contracts (£2M+)
17. Strong background across multiple soft services disciplines
18. Experience overseeing service providers and managing performance
19. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, compliance, and operational delivery
20. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
21. Previous experience working within complex or regulated environments is advantageous
22. Ability to lead teams and coordinate multidisciplinary services
