Lead the team at this exciting new Brighton pub — a venue that combines exceptional food, vibrant weekend energy, and warm, relaxed hospitality. You’ll drive service standards, inspire your team, and shape the guest experience across both dining and bar environments. Part of the award-winning Black Rock Restaurant Group, a family unique, passionate, and food-led venues in Brighton & London. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring exceptional service standards and a consistent guest experience across all areas. Drive revenue performance through effective labour planning, stock control, cost management, and strategic decision-making. Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive, proactive, supportive, and people-first culture. Maintain full compliance with health & safety, licensing, food safety, and operational company policies. Oversee all financial responsibilities including daily banking, cash handling, P&L management, forecasting, and weekly reporting. Lead service on busy shifts, acting as a visible, hands-on presence to support the team, resolve issues, and enhance guest satisfaction. Build strong relationships with guests, the local community, and internal teams to maximise engagement and repeat business. Work collaboratively with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Finance to deliver site objectives and support wider company initiatives. What We Offer in Return We believe in investing in our people.
