Job Description
3. Process client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently.
4. Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
5. Reconcile bank accounts and manage ledger balances.
6. Prepare payment runs and handle electronic bank payments.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
8. Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
9. Respond promptly to queries from fee earners and clients regarding financial matters.
10. Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Cashier should have:
11. Prior experience in a similar role within professional services or a legal environment.
12. Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
13. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
