Area Sales Manager – Access / Scaffolding
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager to join a well-established and market-leading supplier within the access, scaffolding and construction hire sector.
This role is based out of a Manchester depot and covers Lancashire and South Cumbria, managing and developing relationships across contractors, developers, hire distributors.
The position is available due to an internal restructure, offering a strong platform for an ambitious sales professional looking to grow within a successful national business.
The Role
You will be responsible for promoting a range of non-mechanical hire and access solutions, developing new business opportunities while maintaining existing customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Selling a portfolio of access and scaffolding-related hire products
* Managing and developing accounts across main contractors, sub contractors and developers
* Building relationships with merchants and hire distributors
* Identifying new business opportunities within the construction sector
* Conducting regular customer site visits across the region
* Working collaboratively with the depot team (attendance expected in branch approximately one day per week)
Products include:
* Scaffold boards and beams
* Perimeter fencing and safety systems
* Fall safety and safety deck solutions
