Our client is seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to become a key part of their team, based at their modern offices situated near to Kettering. This is a varied position with a 60/40 split between accounts and audit work. You'll work with a wide range of clients, from small owner-managed businesses to medium-sized groups with turnovers up to £55 million.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Prepare year-end accounts and corporation tax computations for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
* Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
* Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
* Lead audits from planning through to completion
* Supervise and review the work of junior team members on audit assignments
* Provide training and mentoring to junior staff
Skills and experience required:
* Solid practice experience across audit, accounts, tax, and compliance
* ACA or ACCA qualification (or part-qualified with a willingness to complete—study support available)
* Confidence to lead audit assignments independently
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset and be confident speaking to clients face to face, over the telephone, and by email
* A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* A full driving licence to complete audits at clients premises
