What you'll do: We're looking for a skilled 18th Edition Electrician to join our expanding team delivering smart electrical solutions across domestic, commercial, and light industrial sites. You'll be hands-on with EV charge point installations, Solar PV AC works, and reactive maintenance, helping us drive the UK's renewable energy transition. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission EV charge points in domestic and commercial settings Carry out AC electrical works related to Solar PV (inverters, mains distribution, system integration) Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and certification (EICs, EICRs, Minor Works) Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and reactive maintenance Ensure compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) and NICEIC standards Use electronic systems (NIC App, tablet) to complete and upload job documentation Liaise with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery Conduct site audits and identify/correct poor practice, supporting consistent high standards What we're looking for: Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition BS7671 certification NVQ Level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) Valid ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician level) Full UK driving licence 5 years' experience across domestic and commercial installations Good communication skills and confident customer-facing experience Strong IT skills for commissioning and reporting apps Desirable skills: City & Guilds 2919-01 (EV Charging Equipment Installation) Experience with EV charger brands like Alfen, Autel, Alpitronic Solar PV accreditation or MCS-related knowledge Experience with battery storage and smart energy systems
