An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the cardiology department at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. We are seeking to appoint two Trust Doctor in Cardiology.
We are looking for applicants with experience in Cardiology who have excellent team-working skills with the abilities/professional skills to work well in a multi-professional team.
This post would suit doctors who have a keen interest in education and there are opportunities for simulation training, teaching and quality improvement work.
Based at East Surrey Hospital, the post-holder will be a key member of the Cardiology team, ensuring comprehensive care for their inpatients and providing acute assessment on presentation.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be committed to delivering clinical and quality targets agreed both nationally and locally with the clinical teams and commissioners.
This post is based in the Cardiology Unit and it is under the supervision of the Consultants in Cardiology.
The post can be a part of the Junior Medical on call rota by mutual agreement and with appropriate qualifications/experience.
Trust doctors wishing to explore career development will be actively supported in doing so and provided with a supervising Consultant to assist.
