Job Description:
A globally leading Chemical Manufacturer based in Middlesbrough is looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team.
As an integral member of the Electrical Team, the Electrical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance on site, including planned, preventative, and reactive activities, ensuring site reliability and integrity are maintained to the highest standards.

Role of the Electrical Technician
The Electrical Technician will raise and follow Permit to Work requests, adhere to isolation procedures, and implement safe systems of work to complete tasks safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to risk assessments for all maintenance duties.
* Perform scheduled maintenance as per the company's plans to support optimal site operation.
* Collaborate with project personnel and contractors to deliver tasks.
* Perform additional duties within your skill and experience level as required.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, environmental standards, and equipment efficiency.
* Develop and review maintenance procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* HNC in Electrical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industry.
* Experience working on COMAH regulated or highly hazardous sites (e.g., Nuclear, ATEX regulations).
* Experience in maintenance, overhaul, and testing of switchgear, motors, and plant equipment.
* Preferably CompEx Trained.
