As part of our growth, we’re looking for a motivated and capable Enforcement Paralegal to join our team. Role Overview You will play an integral role in the enforcement of housing disrepair claims, managing your own caseload and supporting litigation processes. You’ll be working closely with clients, external stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure claims are progressed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities * Manage a litigated caseload with a focus on housing disrepair enforcement. * Prepare and submit claims to defendants and initiate enforcement proceedings where necessary. * Draft legal documentation and conduct legal research. * Prepare and edit client correspondence. * Interview clients and liaise with external professionals. * Draft instructions to experts and counsel. * Ensure accurate case management and adherence to internal procedures. * Deliver excellent client care throughout the litigation process. * Perform administrative and ad-hoc duties to support the team. Candidate Requirements Essential: * Minimum 1 year of experience in a legal support or fee-earning role. * Confidence in handling phone calls and delivering information clearly. * Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively. * Familiarity with case management systems (Proclaim or similar). * Strong written communication and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Motivated team player able to work independently and flexibly. Desirable: * Experience in housing disrepair, litigation, or enforcement. * Knowledge of civil procedure rules and enforcement processes. Work Schedule * Office-based role in Manchester City Centre * Working hours: 8:00am – 6:30pm (flexible shifts within this timeframe)
