Position: Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor
Location: Omagh
Reporting to: Health, Safety and Environmental Manager
Hours of Work: 39¾ hours per week

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will support the business with HSE plans to ensure site compliance, proactive management, and a culture aligned with business goals. You will work closely with operational management to develop line management capabilities and implement good practices through advising, coaching, and mentoring.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with local HSE legislation and company policies.
* Report HSE Performance KPIs, environmental monitoring, and measurement.
* Lead HSE Steering meetings and Safety Committees.
* Assist in Claims management processes.
* Review HSE Risk Assessments, Policies, and Procedures regularly.
* Support HSE and continuous improvement projects.
* Conduct accident/incident investigations and support other investigations.
* Engage with regulatory agencies, insurance, and occupational health providers.
* Identify and deliver HSE training, including conducting training sessions.
* Collaborate with site teams to implement HSE improvement plans and ensure safety.
* Ensure the safety of contractors and visitors.
* Support HSE budget management, including processing purchase orders and resolving invoice queries.
* Coordinate and consult with leadership teams.

What you’ll bring:
The successful candidate must have:
* A NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or similar.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of current HSE legislation.
* Good knowledge of Risk assessments, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Display Screen Equipment.
Desired but not essential:
* Experience in manufacturing environments.
* NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate.
* NEBOSH Environment Certificate or similar.
* NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Wellbeing at Work.
* Train the Trainer Certificate.
* Knowledge of PPC Regulations, UK Packaging Regulations.
