Recovery Officer - 18 month fixed term contract
We are looking for an experienced Recovery Officer to join our team to handle the recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debts. The role is full time (37 hours per week) on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities
* Deal with the recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debts.
* Deal with customers, make and monitor payment arrangements, and respond to general correspondence.
* Work under pressure with the ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
* Be flexible and adaptable; you will need to be a confident, outgoing individual with excellent organisation and IT skills.
* Participate in projects and initiatives as required to support residents and services.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience as a Recovery Officer or equivalent in a local government context is preferred.
* Confident, outgoing, with strong organisational and IT skills.
