We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
* Follow personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needs
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
* Assist with medication administration as directed by senior healthcare professionals
* Support clients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their well-being
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
* Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations
* Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy and understanding towards clients' needs
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends or evenings if required
