A private girls' day school for ages 11–18 located in the City of Westminster, London, catering to about 600 students and staff daily. The school offers breakfast, AM & PM breaks, lunch, and a 6th Form café, with some hospitality services. It operates Monday to Friday during term time, benefiting from excellent transport links.
We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious London locations.
You should have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level, with a passion for working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating bespoke menus. You will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity.
Key responsibilities:
* Collaborate effectively within a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and staff
* Prepare food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, and adhering to brand standards
* Maintain food quality standards and control wastage
* Follow all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures
Required skills:
* Genuine interest in food and excellent customer service skills
* Strong team player
* Passion and innovation for great food
* Organized with attention to detail
* Understanding of food costs and wastage management
* Good verbal and written English skills
* Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is preferred
