Role Purpose
This post offers a unique opportunity to work across primary schools within the Scottish Borders, in the Jedburgh and Kelso Clusters. We seek professionals passionate about inclusive practice, nurture, social justice, and supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Secondments are considered; applicants need to seek permission from their line manager prior to applying.
The successful candidate will join the dedicated peripatetic Outreach team within the Inclusion and Wellbeing Service, which includes teachers and Additional Needs Assistants. The service focuses on supporting vulnerable children and young people and delivering Scottish Borders Council's Inclusion Strategy.
Essential Requirements
* Primary or Secondary teaching qualification
* Full registration with The General Teaching Council for Scotland or Provisional Registration if the probationary period is not yet completed
* A current driving license and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabilities)
