Working hours: Rotating shifts 6am- 3pm / 3pm- 12midnight Pay rate: £13.50 per hour Contract: Temporary Requirements: Safety boots and hi-vis Location: Market Harborough We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established production company seeking a reliable and proactive Production Operative. This role supports the smooth running of the production line by ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are handled efficiently and accurately. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys a mix of hands-on warehouse work and collaboration with production teams. Duties: Picking, packing, and palletising finished goods ready for dispatch Loading and unloading deliveries, including manual handling Receiving, checking, and booking in stock, ensuring accuracy at all times Maintaining stock levels and carrying out regular inventory checks Ensuring all materials are stored safely and labelled correctly Operating warehouse machinery and equipment (training provided) Working closely with production supervisors to support daily output targets Following health & safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace Skills: Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment is beneficial Confident with manual handling and physically active roles Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with production teams Positive work ethic with a reliable and proactive approach Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines Forklift licence (Counterbalance) advantageous but not essential
