About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Legal Practice Manager to lead the operational management of EMCCA’s Legal Services team. Working closely with the General Counsel, you’ll ensure our new legal function runs efficiently, complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements, and delivers high-quality, professional advice to support EMCCA’s strategic objectives. You will: Oversee the day-to-day operations, policies and procedures of the legal service Lead on compliance, risk management and audit activity Drive innovation and best practice in how we deliver legal support Manage and develop the Practice Management Team, fostering a high-performance culture Oversee financial planning and budget management Ensure our technology and systems enable a modern, efficient legal service This is an exciting opportunity to shape how legal services are delivered in one of the UK’s newest combined authorities – working at the heart of devolution in the East Midlands.
