Conference & Events Manager, SO42 Hampshire, 5/7 days £35k
This unique and versatile site, located in stunning surroundings offers an array of events and functions from wedding receptions, conferences, dinners and corporate events.
They are now recruiting for a Conference & Events Manager to lead the department and ensure an outstanding service is delivered.
What you'll be doing:
* Working closely with General Manager and Sales Manager
* Leading, training and managing a large, variable team as well as promoting from within
* Compile rotas in line with budget and business needs
* Managing customer feedback and putting action plans together
* Oversee the delivery of all C&E bookings exceeding customers' expectations on every level
Working hours are 40hr per week, 5/7 days
What we are looking for:
* Strong knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality department
* Previous experience of managing a team
* Excellent people management and communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Flexible in regards to working hour
* Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results
* Able to work in a pressurised environment and able to multi- task
* Understanding of P&L accounts
