Senior Project Quantity Surveyor
to join our dynamic commercial team, working on the transformative
HMP Glasgow project
located in the North East of Glasgow. Your Role
As a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial aspects of our ambitious
£200M+
project, which includes the construction of five innovative buildings using
Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA)
methodology. Key Responsibilities
Organize project work fronts into manageable component work packages for procurement. Negotiate with sub-contractor supply chains to secure the best value. Manage applications for payment from sub-contractors. Prepare information for client payment applications. Monitor and measure actual expenditure against budgeted project costs through
Cost Value Reconciliation Reports (CVR)
. Prepare final accounts to ensure project financials are in order. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you: Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying. Have substantial experience in quantity surveying at a senior level on large construction projects within a main contractor environment. Possess a solid understanding of
SBCC, NEC,
and
JCT contract conditions
. Are comfortable engaging with client representatives, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders. Can mentor and guide junior commercial staff. Hold a full UK Driving License.
