The VacancyManager of Mental Health & Addiction ServicesLocation: Shiels Court, BallymoneyHours: 37 hours per weekContract: PermanentSalary: £36,490.17 - £42,925.61At Inspire, we work alongside people living with mental ill health, addiction and associated challenges, supporting recovery, resilience and wellbeing. We are now seeking a Manager of Mental Health & Addiction Services to lead and develop high-quality, recovery-focused services that make a real and lasting difference.This is a key leadership role where you will work closely with the Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective and person-centred delivery of services, while driving innovation, performance and positive outcomes for the people we support.About the RoleAs Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for a portfolio of Mental Health & Addiction Services. You will provide strong leadership and direction to teams, ensuring services are compliant, effective and aligned with Inspire's values.You will play an important role in shaping service delivery, supporting staff, building relationships with stakeholders and contributing to the ongoing development and growth of services.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership, direction and operational oversight across Mental Health & Addiction ServicesSupport the strategic development and delivery of services in line with organisational objectivesEnsure services meet statutory, regulatory and governance requirementsMonitor service performance, outcomes and quality standards, driving continuous improvementManage resources effectively, including staffing, budgets and service deliveryBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partner agencies and fundersSupport business development opportunities and service expansionLead, support and develop staff, promoting a high-performance and values-led cultureEssential CriteriaTo be shortlisted candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following:CircumstancesTo be flexible as the role will involve working on a rota/shift basis. Day and night shifts over the week-end and on-call.Possess a full current driving licence and access to a car. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a driver's licence. Business Insurance is a requirement for this role.QualificationsProfessional qualification for example:Professional Social Work qualification and registered on the appropriate part of the NISCC register without condition.ORA first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council register.ORAllied health professional; eg Qualified OT registered with BAOT.AND A minimum of 4 years experience, working in a health and social care setting with demonstrated experience of managing a range of complex mental health needs In people who use are services. At least 2 years of this experience must be in a relevant operational management capacity, which must include the supervision of staff/volunteers and financial management.ORA QCF level 5 diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Adults Management) or equivalent and be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC register without conditionAND a minimum of 5 years experience in a health and social care setting with demonstrated experience of managing a range of complex mental health needs in people who use our services. This must include at least 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity to include supervision of staff/volunteers and financial management.ExperienceExperience of delivering mental health or Addiction servicesExperience of Budgetary, Financial Management or Contract delivery.Experience of liaising with statutory and other voluntary agencies.Experience of multi -disciplinary Team WorkingExperience of using IT packages and systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Shortlisting will be based on the evidence that you supply on your application form to satisfactorily demonstrate how, and to what extent, you meet the above criteria.Why Join Us?At Inspire, we are proud to support people across mental health, intellectual disability, autism and addiction services.
