Key responsibilities:
6. Safely drive an HGV Class 1 curtain side vehicle across deliveries in and around Cardiff
7. Complete 1-4 deliveries per shift, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs
8. Perform checks on the vehicle before and after shifts to maintain safety standards
9. Assist with loading and unloading goods as required, using equipment safely
10. Follow all company policies, traffic regulations, and health & safety guidelines
11. Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to resolve any issues
Candidate requirements:
12. Valid HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and current driver’s hours digital tachograph card
13. Proven experience driving curtain side lorries in a distribution or logistics environment
14. Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety and maintenance
15. Ability to start early between 05:00 – 08:00 and work independently
16. Excellent timekeeping and professional attitude
