Development Surveyor
Chartered Surveyor / Senior Surveyor
A leading property consultancy have instructed Beach Baker to recruit a Senior Surveyor/Associate Development Surveyor to join an expanding office in Exeter.
This exciting opportunity is to work with a professional, expert property consultancy operating across many disciplines throughout the South West of England.
Career experience:
You will have experience working for a property consultancy already with a large element of your current role devoted to development work. You will be comfortable with residual valuations and viability appraisals for land and future schemes with an understanding of existing planning policies, affordable housing provision and calculations. The work is varied in both its nature and client base including viability appraisals, secured lending valuations, strategic development advice and land negotiations on behalf of clients.
The opportunity:
1. Ability to demonstrate a business winning mindset.
2. Dealing with clients across the South West region.
3. Identifying opportunities to business development clients.
4. Working with the partnerships other departments to enhance revenue streams.
5. Building successful relationships with clients, internal teams & external advisors.
The candidate:
A General Practice Surveyor with a Real Estate degree and ideally a minimum of 2+ years post MRICS experience.
6. Ideally RICS Registered Valuer
7. Proven residual valuations and viability appraisal work.
8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational & time management
9. Commercially minded, astute and market aware.
