We are urgently seeking your administration experience for a temporary assignment with a Qld Government department located in the Ipswich area (through to approx 30/06/2025 with a possible extension).
As an AO3 Business Support Officer, the role entails a range of reception, clerical and administrative support activities, including:
* Answering telephones and providing basic information and advice to clients in response to enquiries
* Word processing, spreadsheeting and database maintenance
* Assisting with travel arrangements and vehicle bookings
* Filing, photocopying and recordkeeping
* Coordinating mail and correspondence flow, including receipt, registration and distribution to relevant officers
* General administrative support
To be considered for this temporary assignment, you should demonstrate:
* Aligned administration experience with a proven ability to multi-task
* Sound skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning/using new technology
* Fast and accurate keyboarding skills
* Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client service focus
* Collaborative, team player approach
* Availability to work Monday to Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm) commencing asap
A casual hourly rate of $49.40/hour will apply (and on-site car parking is available).
