Crown Gas & Power, based in Bury, Manchester, has been an independent energy supplier to the commercial sector since 2001. We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Co-Ordinator for Utility Connections team. In this vital role, you will act as the linchpin in facilitating the seamless execution of utility connection projects, ensuring all phases from inception to completion are delivered on time and within budget.
Role & responsibilities
As part of our dynamic and established team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for utility connection projects, ensuring seamless communication between clients, internal teams, and external partners. Your project planning skills will be vital for overseeing quotes, timelines, coordinating documentation, and facilitating timely utility connections. You will enhance customer satisfaction by proactively addressing issues during the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organisational skills, and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities will include
* Serve as the primary liaison for utility connection projects and provide clients with insights on cost-effective utility solutions.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including quotes, timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
* Coordinate with clients, brokers and service providers to ensure timely completion of all utility connections.
* Monitor project milestones and deadlines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
* Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
* Resolve any issues or obstacles encountered during the project lifecycle swiftly and effectively.
* Attend client meetings as needed.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
* Proven experience in project coordination, planning, or scheduling, preferably within the utility, construction, or energy sector.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
* Details-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
* Proficiency in project planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong analytical skills, target-driven, and effective decision-making.
