Job Description
Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments and exams
* Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance
* Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field
Experience:
* Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary school level
* Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of Geography concepts and theories
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject
* Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position with regular school hours
* Work in a classroom setting with students aged 11-16
* Potential for extracurricular involvement such as field trips and parent meetings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
