Job Title: Curriculum Lead
Location: Hybrid 3 days per week office-based in Worcester (WR1)
Salary: £32-35,000 DOE
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Role Overview:

We are recruiting for a forward-thinking Curriculum Lead to play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality learning programmes that drive real-world outcomes for learners and employers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge content across Apprenticeships, Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), and commercial training.

Curriculum Lead will collaborate closely with internal and external subject matter experts and key stakeholders across curriculum, assessment, marketing, and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be innovative, learner-focused, and confident producing engaging blended content using modern digital tools and immersive technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

The Curriculum Lead will:

* Design, plan and develop curriculum content for programmes ranging from Level 2 to Level 5 across apprenticeships, HTQs, and commercial offerings.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to build interactive, concise, and engaging content for both eLearning and face-to-face delivery.
* Produce high-quality programme documentation including schemes of work, module plans, supporting materials, templates, and programme guides.
* Continuously improve curriculum materials through collaboration, learner feedback, and industry developments.
* Integrate immersive learning tools and AI where appropriate to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
* Ensure all curriculum content is aligned with awarding body requirements, ESFA standards, and Ofsted frameworks.
* Contribute to internal and external standardisation, quality assurance activities, and curriculum reviews.
* Maintain effective communication and collaborative working relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Ensure inclusion of Personal Development, Behaviour & Attitudes (PDBA), Off-the-Job hours (OTJH), and safeguarding principles within all programmes.
* Remain up to date with sector developments and technological advances to keep programmes relevant and future-focused.

Essential Criteria:

* Experience designing curriculum/training content for qualifications at Levels 25.
* Strong understanding of vocational education and the FE & Skills sector.
* Experience delivering training or education programmes.
* Confident project manager with strong organisation and communication skills.
* Understanding of technology-enhanced learning (e.g. eLearning, AI, digital tools).
* Knowledge of sector regulatory requirements (ESFA, Ofsted, awarding bodies).

Desirable Criteria:

* A recognised teaching or coaching qualification.
* IQA/Internal Verifier qualification.
* Knowledge of or experience within the construction sector.
* Experience designing content for apprenticeships, HTQs and/or commercial short courses.
* Experience working with immersive or multimedia learning platforms (e.g. VR, AR, Articulate, Synthesia).
* Skilled in tools such as:
o Microsoft 365
o Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
o LMS systems (e.g. BUD, Smart Assessor)
o ChatGPT / AI tools
o YouTube/Google integration tools
