We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our optical practice, ensuring that patients receive exceptional service and care. Responsibilities
* Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses that best suit their needs and preferences.
* Maintain an organised inventory of optical products, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
* Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
* Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage.
* Collaborate with the optometry team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
* Maintaining a clean work environment.
Experience
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.
* Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner.
* Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently.
