You’ll be responsible for:

* Leads the Knowledge & Capability needs analysis process, overseeing all aspects from planning to implementation and review.

* Collaborates with a wide range of individuals to gather insights on employee performance, programme/project goals, team needs, future requirements, and technical or specialised competency.

* Plans and prepares by clearly articulating the goals and objectives of the Knowledge & Capability needs analysis, identifying the key stakeholders who will need to be involved and establishes a realistic timeline for completion.

* Conducts Knowledge & Capability assessments, holds scoping interviews and/or uses other techniques to gather insights such as focus groups or observations.

* Ensures project/programme and client contractual and legal training requirements are considered when deploying initiatives and overseeing administration.

* Creates comprehensive reports detailing findings of needs analysis, proposing solutions to address needs and present recommendations to key stakeholders and sponsor.

* Develops a detailed plan of action for implementing Knowledge & Capability solutions, including timelines, resources required, and evaluation methods.

* Analyses the current state of training administration and puts in place methods to improve efficiencies,

* Leads on use of learning technologies and offers recommendations to the project/programme on which technological support is of best value,

* Builds and presents the business case for introduction of the technology,

* Responsible for raising the capability of the project/programme community for them to deliver to the wider strategy and goals,

* Develops a unified, robust competency model that addresses the current and future needs of the project/programme,

* Collects and analyses quantitative and qualitative data related to Knowledge & Capability initiative.

You’ll need to have:

* Project management experience and expertise.

* Proven facilitation/presentation skills.

* Developed consulting skills.

* Understanding of learning types and when to apply different methods.

* Instructional learning design and scaffolding expertise.

* Learning and Development qualification (or equivalent).

* Facilitation/Presentation skills.

* Presents and communicates effectively at all levels (up to C-suite), both written and verbal.

* Able to tailor approach to specific audiences internally and externally.

* Manages and influences key senior stakeholders.

* Builds and cultivates relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working to execute strategic programmes.

You’ll also have:

* Learning Management Systems experience.

* Articulate 360 self-authoring eLearning creation.

* Experience working in large projects/programmes in the built environment.

* Strong competence and proven ability in developing leadership, management capability and/or organisational effectiveness.

* Guides, directs, coordinates and upskills others on portfolio.
