YachtBuyer is the fastest-growing digital platform in the yachting sector, delivering expert yacht reviews, market insights, breaking news and high-quality editorial content to a global audience. With a focus on accuracy, data-driven reporting and a premium editorial voice, our content team is expanding, and we're looking for a highly organised, digitally-minded Digital Editorial Assistant to join us.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital publishing, confident with online tools and workflows, and excited to support a fast-moving editorial operation.
The Role
As a Digital Editorial Assistant, you'll support the full content lifecycle, from research and fact-checking to content preparation, CMS publishing and workflow coordination. You'll work closely with writers, editors, and the wider team to ensure every piece of content published on YachtBuyer meets our standards for accuracy, clarity and presentation.
This is a hands-on, digital-first role where strong organisation, curiosity and attention to detail are essential.
What You'll Do
* Research yacht specifications, market data, designers, shipyards and industry trends
* Source and verify information from trusted digital tools and online resources
* Prepare and format content for publication in our CMS (text, images, metadata, tagging)
* Assist with image selection, resizing, editing and organisation
* Proofread and fact-check articles to ensure accuracy and consistency
* Create short-form supporting copy for features, listings and news items
* Maintain workflow documents and editorial schedules to keep projects on track
* Collaborate with content, social and multimedia teams to support cross-platform output
* Help uphold YachtBuyer's tone, quality and editorial style standards
* Support editors with administrative, organisational and production tasks
About You
* Strong writing, grammar and research skills
* Digitally confident - comfortable using CMS platforms, web tools and online research
* Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for accuracy
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
* Proactive, curious and keen to learn new digital publishing skills
* A genuine interest in media, journalism or digital content production
* An interest in yachting or luxury markets is a bonus, not required
