We’re hiring a Senior MLOps Engineer to join a fast-growing AI consultancy based in Manchester City Centre (3 days on-site). You’ll take ownership of production ML systems and help shape how models are deployed, scaled, and maintained for clients.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading deployment and scaling of ML systems for client projects
* Working closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers in a collaborative, pair-programming environment
* Owning features end-to-end, from design through to production support
* Participating in sprint planning and architectural decision-making
* Improving best practices around experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring
What we’re looking for
* 3+ years’ experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
* Hands-on experience training and serving ML models
* Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
* Strong working knowledge of Docker, Linux, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
* Eligible for SC clearance
Nice to have
* Practical MLOps experience in live environments
* Kubernetes and IaC
* Experience with LLM or agent-based systems
* Open source contributions or technical writing
