A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their established Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a technical leadership role within a highly respected multidisciplinary environment, delivering design solutions on major infrastructure and development projects.
The Role
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading geotechnical design, managing complex projects, and providing technical guidance across a diverse project portfolio.
You will be responsible for:
* Leading geotechnical design for major infrastructure and development schemes
* Managing and delivering complex ground engineering projects
* Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers
* Overseeing ground investigation strategies and interpretative reporting
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across large-scale projects
* Supporting project management, client liaison, and technical delivery
Requirements
* Proven experience in geotechnical design within a consultancy environment
* Strong background in leading projects and delivering technical solutions
* Experience working within large, multidisciplinary teams
* Excellent technical reporting and communication skills
* Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
* Chartered or working towards chartership (preferred)
