Job Title: Protection Adviser.
Location: Remote. Must be UK based and will require occasional travel to one of our offices in Colchester, Peterborough or Wakefield.
Rewards: Basic salary of £25,000 plus commission, OTE £45K – £50K.
Hours: Monday to Friday – three early shifts 9 am–6 pm and two late shifts 11 am–8 pm.

In 2024 we handled over 15,000 mortgage applications. Our Helpline teams and Mortgage and Protection Advisers have considerable knowledge and experience of mortgage products that are particularly geared towards the new homes market, as well as having established relationships with key mortgage lenders. Protection Adviser Responsibilities
You will be part of a team that proactively manages customers’ protection applications and needs, keeping regular contact with clients and assigned insurance companies to deliver high levels of customer service.
* Retain existing protection policy arrangements taken out by customers.
* Minimise lost commission by preventing cancellations of protection application arrangements within the group.
* Arrange suitable protection policies according to individual customer needs.
* Proactively contact customers who have not made any mortgage protection arrangements to identify and fulfil protection needs.
As a Protection Adviser you should have a proven track record in offering protection advice and ideally hold a CeMAP 1 qualification, although this is not essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.
