Job Title: SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Are you someone who is committed to supporting learners with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential? GSL Education are currently recruiting a SEN Teacher to work within schools across Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas, delivering high-quality teaching and tailored learning experiences for students with special educational needs. As a SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher, you will design and deliver lessons tailored to diverse needs, adapting strategies to support progress and ensuring every student can access the curriculum with confidence. Prime Responsibilities of SEN Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN. Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting strategies to maximise learning outcomes. Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development alongside academic achievement. Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to create effective support plans. Maintain accurate records of progress, interventions, and assessments. Foster an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment. Requirements: Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching learners with SEN. Strong classroom management and differentiated teaching skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan and implement personalised learning programmes. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare. Passionate about inclusion and helping learners succeed?
