Job Opportunity! - Interim Senior Finance Officer (Systems) – North West of England – Interviews This Week
A local government client of mine are on the lookout for a Senior Finance Officer (Systems) to join their team on an interim basis.
Contract Duration: 6 months +
Rate: DOE
IR35: Inside
Days: 37 hours X 5 days p/w (Could maybe consider 30 hours X 4 days p/w)
Hybrid: Minimum X2 days in office p/w.
Start Date: November
Main Duties:
 * Maintaining financial systems to support the delivery of accurate and robust financial information.
 * Ensure robust reconciliations are in place to ensure the accuracy of the councils financial ledger.
 * Assist in automating and streamlining processes.
 * Support the development and testing of the finance system.
 * Offer systems support to others.
Successful candidates:
 * Will have previous specific local government experience working as a Finance Systems Officer / Admin or equivalent.
 * Will have prior experience and feel comfortable performing the outlined tasks for the job role.
 * Must be minimum AAT qualified.
